Key Accountabilities
1. Review and revise the Airport Safety Management Manual (Airport SMM) by updating the manual or any safety documents to comply with CAAT regulations, ICAO Standards and Airport Safety Standards.
2. Monitor the operational condition of the airport to ensure movement areas (runways, taxiways and aprons) are safe for aircraft operations
3. Perform Airport Safety Inspection to all PG Airports to comply with safety regulations including external company related to safety issue.
4. Prepare detailed informational and operational reports related to safety incidents, injuries, and accidents.
5. Assist in the processing and distribution of safety reports
6. Liaise with other functions concerning the Airport operations in compliance with International Standards and Recommended Practices and CAAT regulation to achieve airport safety performance.
7. Assist in and provide the information for the Airport Safety Meeting and provide the record of minute of Safety Meeting or Forum on a monthly basis as well as reports to be proved by Head of Division regularly.
8. Maintain and perform tasks involving Airport safety, hazard identification and risk assessment, aircraft accident/incident investigation process, safety survey to ensure safety standards and regulations
9. Assist the Head of Division for SMS training in both initial and recurrent trainings for Airport personnel by recording the training’s result in the system. Update relevant training manual, monitor timeline for recurrent trainings and schedule for Airport SMS training including initial training for service companies or other aeronautical or non-aeronautical users.
10. Control all receiving and outgoing Airport Safety documents.
11. Communicate information policies, strategies correctly and effectively to all employees in order to apply in practice.
12. Perform any tasks assigned by superior.
