Organizationally beneficial behaviors were hypothesized to be relatively more acceptable in
low power distance (Hypothesis 1a), collectivistic (Hypothesis 2a), and feminine (Hypothesis 3a)
cultures. The finding that U.S. managers scored significantly higher than Thai managers in respect
to the relative acceptability of organizationally beneficial behaviors (F = 36.96, p < .001) is
consistent with Hypothesis 1a, but not with Hypotheses 2a and 3a. Thus, the organizationally
