Bacca’s agent Sergio Barila has revealed that the Colombia international provided him with a short-list of potential destinations before he left to Chile for the Copa America.
“Before he went to Chile, we wrote down a list of clubs that fit that description and Liverpool was on that list,” he said.
With the Reds emerging as one of the names on the list, manager Brendan Rodgers could be influenced to continue his spending spree even further despite already agreeing deals for six players.
According to additional remarks, Barila admitted that his client may also be lured by the high wages clubs in England can offer.
“He has a good salary in Sevilla but we know how much clubs in England can pay.”
