Mobile devices afford the user the ability to be permanently connected to any number of services,
to include the Internet, a wireless carrier, and the GPS network. These services are reachable through the mobile device's Wi-Fi, Cellular, and GPS module. Each of these services provides a means by which the device can be compromised and indicates that mobile devices are susceptible to a very different class of threat when compared to their desktop and laptop counterparts. Therefore, apps must be tested for the different forms of exposure a mobile device faces.
