TrueVisions, the country's largest pay TV operator, has acknowledged violating rules related to channel numbering and advertising limits but says it will use the legal process to solve its problems.
The company insists it will not comply with the two rules even as the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) threatens it with fines.
Birathon Kasemsri Na Ayudhaya, head of commercial and business development at TrueVisions, said the new channel numbering rule, which took effect last December, was unfair to operators.
