These items were also statistically significant when compared
with a traditional course when p < 0.05 using the Mann–Whitney-U
test 2-sided testing. In the person-centered communication course
students benefited most from considering situations from different
points of view (4.87), active participation during the course (4.73)
and exchange and discussionwith colleagues (4.71). The latter items
were also statistically significant when compared with a traditional
coursewhen p < 0.05 using theMann–Whitney-Utest 2 sided testing.
It is interesting to see different top factors in the results of the project
management soft skills course and the person-centered communication
course. Thismay be due to the different objectives regarding the
level of learning. Fig. 3 also illustrates that support by a web-based
learning platformwas not considered a top profitable aspect although
it clearly ranged among the aspects fromwhich students indicated to
benefit more than average. This underlines that in a person-centered
course climate students appreciate the interpersonal face-to-face
communication as a vital factor.
