World-famous rap star Snoop Dogg has just released his 13th album, Bush, with Pharrell Williams as producer. Snoop is relaxed and cool on this album, and why wouldn't he be? He's now 43 years old and has been rapping since the early 1990s. The stand-out opener, "California Roll," is a great appetiser, served up with Stevie Wonder's harmonica. This track is great example of the laid-back sound of Snoop's Bush. The first single,"Peaches N Cream" featuring Charlie Wilson, is a groovy hit. This album is a tribute to the funk and R&B of the 1970s. Both Snoop and Pharrell are children of the '70s,so it's no wonder that there songs sound so good.
