Although adequate as an introduction to the potential of interactive multimedia instructional tools, this book wastes too much space reiterating basic points.
Rather than simply explaining the issues in a straightforward manner, the authors first tell you what they will tell you, then they tell you, and then they tell you what they've told you. Had they omitted superfluous guidelines such as "After weighing the advantages and disadvantages of using an existing multimedia application, one must then decide whether to obtain and use that product," the authors could have produced a much more readable guide, covering the same content in half the pages.
