In C. sinensis, the
concentration of free and total phenols increased by 152.4
and 170.9mm/mg GAE, respectively, compared to E.
purpurea whereas the percentage phenolic bonds was
reduced by 12.1%. The increase in free phenolic concentration
in feed plus herb mixture, and this feed plus C.
sinensis was 2.1 and 1.9mm/mg GAE, respectively
