Jeeps manufactured in Japan are best equipped for comfort and speed for Mongolian travel. They perform well in the Mongolian countryside given the lack of paved roads and driving conditions which can be difficult and often include mud and sandy terrain. Breakdowns in remote areas and lack of ready access to fuel can present problems.
