Position Tracking
Position tracking goes in pair with synchronization.
It enables the application to keep track of the players’ position.
The dead reckoning technique can be used for calculating the players’ present position from a past position and their velocity since,
rather than from physical referents such as landmarks.
With dead reckoning, clients need to transmit only changes in the velocities of the
moving objects.
The exact position of each object is then extrapolated from its last known location and velocity.
This enables the game to be operated on limited bandwidth.
