OK, this is a harmonizer environment for a vocal track. The attached project includes a small vocal loop and a MIDI region for demonstration. Just press play to here the demo, then mute the MIDI region, select the "Harmonies" track and play your keyboard. Of course the Transport must be running.
Playing G#2 plays the audio at its original pitch, but you can add pitches to it down to C2 and up to D#3 simply by playing those notes.
This Harmonizer gives you up to 8 voices. Careful when playing legato semitones as the note off, if later than the note on, is received it will cut off your new note. Nothing that can't be tweaked in the Piano roll, however.
Have fun, and please suggest improvements!
Edit: This harmonizer does its pitch shifting on multiple "track" channel strips, which means you must copy your audio to all 8 tracks. However, this means you can alternatively use other good vocal takes for harmony parts instead of just a copy of one take.
