(3) When selecting a buyer, the Procurement Section serves as a contact point for receiving estimates. A reliable buyer must be selected to ensure profitable sale.
(4) When transferring the actual item, measurement must be performed undue supervision from the buyer and person in charge of storage. A record of measurement must be kept.
(5) The person in charge of storage must approve the removal.
(6) If advance removal is necessary prior to a decision for sale (for example, component analysis, recovery tests, etc.), approval must be received from a manager or higher-ranked member of the applicable department.
(7) When collecting the sales proceeds, always use an advance payment system and ensure credit protection."
