As far as cultural sites, Muang Sam Sip has many. The chapel in Weruwan temple is very famous because an old monk from Vientiencame and did his meditation there. The name of temple comes from the nearby bamboo forest which used to surround it.
There are also many Bai Sema that still remain in the aria of Muang Sam Sip. They are located at the center of villagers, in the forest, at Don Puta and near the chapel. The Bai Sema are very important to the Buddhist religion although they are hard to view today. You can also see the Phra Buddha Sri Bhodhi Yana (Dhramacha) in Wiweg Dhramacha forest temple.
