The service providers offer a range of occupational wellbeing and preventative healthcare programmes to public sector employers. The intervention starts with a comprehensive survey of the workforce to assess needs and services, and a contact centre is then installed as an interface to the public healthcare system and point of contact for employees in relation to occupational healthcare needs. Success is measured by the reduction in the average the number of sick leave days taken, with the success fee calculated in relation to a historic baseline. The target return is based on a reduction of 2.1 sick leave days per employee per year, which would result in significant cost savings to the public sector.
