In my opinion, I didn't see that. It was referring to myriad other news reports which fail singularly to take any politicians to account or ask for detailed explanations. Previously, the Media would combine balance with the sort of interrogation of politicians which the country expects. It is also striking that, while expressing a clear view of their own, The thing which is striking about this study is that it means there is still somebody in the country who actually expects newspapers to perform any sort of public service with a view to genuinely informing the public on anything whatsoever. It's all about hiding the truth and spinning lies, and you really don't need an academic study to discover that, just a copy of a newspaper.
