Already sent different lists of things to do for this earlier, but will review here quick for you.
If there is anything missing and / or needs extra comments on please advise ASAP.
If you are serious about upsizing the pump, please advise quickly as this will be a major operation.
We will need to upsize a lot more lines and the entire valve block as well, which will put us under a lot of time pressure.
Frankly, in my view, I think speeding up the tilting could make the machine unsafe and should be reconsidered.
As such, have yet to note these revisions in the list below.
Hydraulic Power Unit
• Strip and re-paint the power unit in RAL-3000 (Herrenknecht Red).
• Move all electric components to new IP-55 box.
• Check and replace any damaged buttons.
• Check and replace any damaged plugs (i.e. on electric motor).
• Sort the valve sections top to bottom in order; clamp, lift, tilt, and load/unload
• Check on hydraulic lock problem with couplings, may need to change one or more solenoid valves to P blocked, A&B to T center position.
Machine
• Re-plumb with T-way fittings in the center of the frame (for even flow division).
• Move the over-center valve to center of frame along with.
• The welded and tapped tube to hose ends are going to need to be all cut and replaced with proper profile ring fittings.
• The coupling panel should be redone and set back an inch or so in order for the couplings to not protrude outside the limits of the machine.
• Sort the coupling in order left to right; clamp, lift, tilt, and load/unload
• Any changes to the piping that results in new hoses being done needs to be considers (i.e. all functions operating in all modes the hoses must be long enough).
The machine will need to be tested significantly in our workshop after all the above in order to assure best settings / operation.
Hence, the reason for the sand filled drums coming along with.
