Rain will be slow to clear southeastern parts of England, probably not clearing the far southeast until after dark. Elsewhere bright and breezy but with blustery showers, the showers heaviest and most frequent across northern and western areas. Feeling cooler.
Tonight:
Clear spells and further showers. The showers most frequent around western and southern coasts for much of the night, but spreading across other parts through the early hours.
Monday:
Further blustery showers on Monday, perhaps some more persistent rain across the far southeast, which could be heavy at times. The best of the drier, brighter weather for central areas.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
Showers Tuesday and Wednesday, gradually dying out from the west Wednesday afternoon. A dry start to Thursday, turning wet and windy from the west later. Much cooler than of late.
