Cellulose content of the Preparation of xylan-removed Sugarcane bagasse was much higher than the raw Sugarcane bagasse while the lignin content was much lower. Enzymatic hydrolysis of the xylan-removed Sugarcane bagasse with 7.5 FPU/g cellulose could achieve an equal glucose yield to the higher cellulase loadings. Fed-batch SSF was employed to produce ethanol and the final ethanol concentration
could reach 40.59 g/L corresponding to 74.2% with the cellulase
loading of 7.5 FPU/g cellulose. The high titer ethanol by using such
a low cellulase loading could reduce the overall cost
