On the inside back cover of my novel “Based Upon a Lie” I wrote, “The health of any nation is discernible through its arts. That a once-vibrant Christian nation now produces relatively little Christian art should concern us. Art should do more than idly entertain, or worse, assault our spirituality. Art should enlighten the mind and inspire the soul. It should provoke and elevate thought, affirm the beauty and majesty of life, and not ambush our souls with vulgar, violent, sexual images.”
I believe my novel achieves my objective. If you would like to support a struggling Christian artist and writer, autographed first editions are still available.
