After the conditioning of the cartridge,3.0 ml of the homogenized and degassed samples were pass through them. The aqueous fraction with the sugars was removed , leaving on the soli phase only the synthetic dye which was extracted with a 10.0-ml solution of 18% (v/v) isopropyl alcohol. The alcoholic solutions with the coloured compenentwere place in a rotary evaporator with vacuum. After complete evaporation a dry food colouring was obtained, 3.0 ml of water was aded to them and the samples were transferred directly to glass vial to be filtered through a 0.45 micrometer cellulose membrane (CA pore- MFS-13) and placed in HPLC vials for injection into the liquid chromatograph (in triplicate) and for application on the chromatography plates.
