The essential oils utilized for antioxidant source were thyme
(Thymus vulgari), coriander (Coriandrum sativum), and rosemary
(Rosmarinus officinalis). Essential oils were obtained through hydrodistillation
by Clevenger. Pure concentration, 50, 75, 100 and
200l/100 ml of essential oils were used based on minimum
inhibitory concentration (MIC). Essential oil was solved in ethanol
96% and Tween 80, and then diluted with distilled water (Ponce
et al., 2003; Moreira et al., 2005).
