Job Description:
Manage day to day logistics system operations.
Manage overall stock holdings and inventory control, minimizing stock surplus or shortage occurrences wherever possible.
Control stock discrepancy and damage.
Prepare, update, consolidate and verify monthly sales forecast inputs from the Sales Team for order translation.
Plan & place purchase orders to APC & other suppliers and follow up on estimated time of shipment arrival and other details of the shipment.
Manage and meet customer requirements as and when they arise.
Source, evaluate and execute the most economical remedial actions to ensure continual supplies.
Manage vendors and service providers on issues related to product, quality, prices and terms, inclusive of sourcing evaluation and negotiation functions as deemed necessary.
Manage and review SAP and sales support processes, systems and requirements.
Generate sales, inventory and information reports required by the OM Manager or PM Consumable team, in required formats and at agreed times.
