Over the weekend, we received the attached private messages from a Facebook user from Thailand.
I put the text into Google Translate. The top one says “Fujitsu Hello, I think this photo is inappropriate and should not be shown on Facebook, you can remove it.” The bottom one: “Fujitsu Hi, I think content is the intellectual property of me . And can not be used without my permission. Can you send a message back to me about this, or have you remove this content.”
However, in both cases, the link (https://www.facebook.com/fujitsu/photos/a.483090447243.290231.7473527243/10152574131122244/?type=1) points only to the standard Fujitsu logo. Obviously, these are bogus claims. I’ve shown this to Mark Utley, and he advises to simply ignore it, but to inform our colleagues in Thailand, just in case the user decides to escalate for some reason. I’m not sure who the appropriate contact in Thailand would be anymore. Can I ask for your help in passing this along?
