Research Design
This descriptive study involved quantitative research methodology utilizing a correlational research resign. The purpose of the study was to describe relationships among measures of emotional intelligence, cultural intelligence, job performance, and leader effectiveness of County Extension Directors in Ohio. Job performance and leader effectiveness were the two dependent variables of interest in this study. Emotional intelligence and cultural intelligence were the two independent variables examined in this study. Leader behavior and trusting work relationship, were the two intervening variables that were measured and controlled via data analysis.
