Whatever the field is, especially the service oriented professions, the front line staff are well equipped with training, techniques and knowledge about their organizational priorities, customer value and their everyday duties. Librarianship is a services oriented profession, and basic services are often provided at the circulation desk in majority of the libraries" (Ahmed, 2012).
