Normally, a conference is bigger in scale more formal, has a particular agenda and people with different backgrounds, from far off places together to discuss of common interest. Conferences are held in places that are specially designed to meetings of this scale, such as hotel conference rooms or training hold centers where there are facilities and the right environment and to hold discussions at a large scale. Meetings are informal and involve a lesser number of people than conferences. Meetings are often held in-house and have no special requirement and can be held at a short notice at any suitable places. Meetings last for a short period of time.
