Sorry Martin, I should have clarified what research I have done with Kawinchida’s IFS account.
We have a separate IFS issue where user’s database sessions are not closing correctly, so we have to drop the sessions. This has been happening occasionally in external offices and in Butler. Glenn has escalated the case with IFS. I do not know if your office has experienced this, but I had wondered if somehow Kawinchida’s issue was related.
When I first looked at Kawinchida’s account Wednesday afternoon, I saw she had a CRM session open, which is fine. I have advised her to make sure she closes CRM at end of day.
Over the weekend, Glenn rebooted IFS servers, so my comment about IFS looking ‘clean’ meant on Sunday (7/6) I saw no evidence on the database side that Kawinchida was logged in.
I will double-check her IFS account again and will open a case with IFS for her issue.
In the meantime – you can attempt to clear IFS temporary files from their workstations. For windows 7 they are here:
C:UsersuseridAppDataLocalapps2.0 (note AppData is a hidden folder – so you may have to change the folder view via control panel)
• You may safely delete all data under the 2.0 folder. Note: deleting this folder will make all IFS apps download again, which can be slow, but this will ensure we have no remnant left of old IFS files.
I will get back to you as soon as I have any additional information.
