I've been diagnosed with Asperger's, and I found this while searching for a binaural beat video to help me relax so I can sleep tonight. Unfortunately, this soundtrack has too many layers of different sounds and caused sensory overload. Before you ask: I was using high-quality in-ear headphones. I was emotionally neutral. I had no other physical stimulation at the time.

I've been having sensory overload like crazy, like when my 6 year old strokes my arm (which she is doing out of a place of love) I have that sick feeling like I have a fever of 103 and my skin is nauseous... lol does that make sense? Also her loud noises literally make me jump, and sounds hurt me... will this help with that? I feel like a horrible mother.

+lamb998 How did you listen to the beats? Were you using headphones or speakers? What was your emotional state prior to listening to the beats? These types of beats work well as part a meditation/relaxation/deep breathing practice. You may also have other sensory needs, such as "deep pressur"e or "heavy work" that may need addressed. Good luck with your journey with self discover and treatment.
