1. Publication Relations (PR) should contact and advertise the Open House to schools with music programs. There were not that many interested students at our concerts. This was the biggest problem we had.
2. We should have a budget to do posters (we printed them ourselves this year).
3. We should confirm the department concerts several weeks before the Open House. We did not have full details for all concerts on Open House day.
4. We should consider doing only concerts. Students were as interested in the talks.
5. We should consider doing more events at the Open House University Center. They have a stage and there were many interested students there. We should also consider having more than one staff member there.
6. Some interested students went to the University Center and could not find the College of Music. We should consider a bus or way to help them find the College.
7. The Music Square coupons worked well.
8. We should consider doing more game type activities with souvenirs. This should be part of the budget.
