In order to describe the factor that might impact on the implementation plan, we will divided into 2 types
Internal factor
- Space and equipment limitation in kitchen. Due to the small café that located on level 1 of building which has office and hotel upstairs. Therefore the space in kitchen is very small and there are only 2 staffs can stay in kitchen and other staff cannot get walk through the kitchen when chef is working. As a result, when the cooking process is very complicated and need more process, it is very difficult to cook or put more staff to support. Moreover, the equipment for cooking is limited that we do not have any oven or commercial top gas, we use the kitchen same as we normally have in our house, so the food that we cook need to be very simple and quick.
- Staff knowledge. As we are small café and only 3-4 staffs in a day, it is very important that all staffs who are working in a day must be able to do all functions in café such as barista, chef, kitchen hand, juice maker, waitress and cashier. At this step, it is very hard to find staff who has the multi skills that be able to perform all functions and sometime we found that some staff be able to do all function but the language that they need to communicate to customer is not enough.
External factor
- The location of café that very difficult to do the marketing because it is located in building level 1, only internal customer who stay in hotel and who is working in office upstairs will know that our café is there. Therefore, when we have new menu or new promotion, it is difficult to promote to outside customer.
- Economic issue. As we are understand that the economic in current situation that a lot of people have some limitation for spending money because their income and expend is not in balance, so the expensive food or drink may make them decide to go to other place that have a lower price such as fast food,
