Following the third count, in the event of an inventory discrepancy exceeding a certain amount threshold*, are investigations undertaken? Insofar as possible, is the person that undertakes these investigations independent of the warehouse, and does he/she have an inventory tracking authorisation? Are explanations concerning inventory adjustments always documented? (*For example: greater than 0.5% of the theoretical stock value, or fixed threshold of €100, €200, etc., specified by the local Financial Division.)
