Aside from the aforementioned objectives of the study, the study aims to fulfill the following: 1) to assess whether PCOO New Media incorporates Government Communication, E-Government, New Public Management, and Social Media principles in its operations; 2) to assess whether PCOO New Media is efficient in using Social Media as a government communication tool by using the guide/criteria produced in this study; 3) to provide recommendations based on best practices on the use of Social Media in other countries; 4) and to provide recommendations based on observations of the current operations of PCOO New Media conducted for this study.
