Key Questions
1. How many people are there in your family?
2. Can you draw your family tree?
Procedure
Warm-up
1. Teacher shows the picture of one family and asks questions,
How many people are there in this family?
Who is this man/woman/boy/girl?
and then asks students to discuss the people in the picture.
2. Teacher gives students the passage about the family in the picture. Teacher asks questions and discuss with students about the passage.
Activities
3. Teacher asks students to work in group. Each group imagines one family.
Then teacher asks the question;
-How many people are there in your family?
-Can you draw your family tree?
Then teacher lets students present in class.
4. Teacher asks students working in the same group to set the family and present to class more details. Teacher asks more questions: How old is your father/mother/ sister/brother? And what do the members in your family do in the free time?
5. Teacher asks students to work in group. Each group writes a paragraph about their image family which they performed and read to class
Wrap up
6. Teacher asks students writing a paragraph to tell about the family in students’ image. Teacher suggests students that students should write the detail of the members in family; the name, age, characteristic, job and hobby.
