Mega tides

Just after the spring equinox we get some of our biggest tides. The sea sweeps right out before rushing back in, faster and further inland than any other time of the year. It’s a great time to see flocks of waders up close, the dousing of saltwater and debris of marine plants that are left behind, play a special role in forming the character of the UK’s long coastlines.
