==The Last of the Red Wings==
Here we go! Wha? No voice acting? Awwww, I'm pissed already! We get to control our first character, and here he is:

Okay, not a very good start to the game. After reading the character synopses and game reviews of Mr. Harvey here, I'm not impressed by him. He's Cecil and Rosa's son, but you already knew that about him. He's basically just a cardboard cutout of Cecil, but with the added *bonus* of being dimwitted, lame, and unsure of himself. He is also reluctant to walk in his father's footsteps, because I don't know, he's an ass to his dad? He looks foolish with his spiked hair and uncomfortable-looking battle armour, and he doesn't even have that much relevance to TAY as the plot rolls on.
In battle, Ceodore is classified as a Paladin. These knights are capable of wielding swords and heavy armour, along with the added benefit of casting a few white magic spells (Cure/Esuna/Raise) after levelling up some. He has high speed for a healer, high MP for a physical attacker, adequate HP and Strength, and high magic casting capabilities. The game treats Ceodore as a better magic user than a warrior, so exploit his adroitness with healing to get the best result from him.
Ceodore's special ability (they all have one) is 'Awaken', which will fully restore his HP and boost his stats temporarily. However, once this wears off, the stat boosts will fade and his HP will be reduced to single digits. Therefore, I encourage you to use it only as a worst case scenario option, when the only way to win a battle is by going for broke.
Ceodore's alright as a character, and he's above average as a fighter, but his attributes are outclassed by others who take a more committed approach to their ordained job class than Ceodore does.

In a complete mimic of FFIV, Ceodore appears on the Red Wing's flagship, harbouring some kind of unease. This is just Ceo's timidness making an appearance, so I'll go right ahead and ignore that. Speak to everyone on the ship to move on with the story. We're on our way to the Adamant Isle, an optional area from the first game that we didn't have to visit at all. This will be the scene of Ceo's 'initiation trial', according to Biggs, which is needed in his training to become a knight. After you do all that, Wedge (a soldier on the ship) speaks with Ceodore regarding his noble birth, and wondering if the prince is feeling better. Biggs walks up and begins acting like a total bellend to him. When Ceo tries to defend himself, Biggs takes the only logical action and punches him right in the face! What the fuck, Biggs? You asshole! Isn't it a crime to assault one of the blood royal? Jesus, I wish the Marquis de Sade was writing this plot; Biggs'd have his ugly misshapen head cut off in no time flat.
