One question is whether Philips really paid the damage fee these years? as I don’t remember any finally success we can convince them to pay. They always argued their cargo never will damage the containers.
To release good containers to them is subject to the POLs’ cooperation and it has been informed many times.
I will suggest not to collect the deposit and if it is incurred then we review case by case. With the evidence that it’s customer fault, we are sure can get their compensation of the repair fee.
