Treatment of SCC, omeprazole, and vitamin C before treatment with 20 mg/kgBW indomethacin increased the activities of GPx compared to indomethacin treated group.
Treatment of SCC at 500 mg/kgBW protected the gastric mucosal against the loss of antioxidant enzyme activity, resulting in a significant increase in enzymatic GPx activities approximate to the normal control levels.
