The proposed framework has been designed as a platform
to be modular, versatile and extendable. There are numerous
application areas (e.g. small research experiments, for educational
purposes, rapid BSN prototyping, etc.) that could benefit
from the developments outlined in this paper.
In the context of wearable computing, the proposed framework
can analyse the behavioural properties for the purpose
of health and fitness. Recordings can be processed to estimate
the number of calories burnt, steps taken, weight lost while
maintaining a track record of progress.
