Following the immense success of the campaign’s first year, Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) continues its commitment to promote elevator safety in schools with their second year of the “Caring for Kids” event. The company plans to take the campaign to 30 schools around the Bangkok vicinity. Students in grade 1 – 3 will get to participate in fun activities, learn about basic safety rules of elevator and escalator use through hand puppet characters especially designed to convey the key messages, and take home Mitsubishi Elevator storybooks to enjoy later with their parents.
Mr. Tatsuo Matsuoka, Managing Director of Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand), revealed that “Caring for Kids” by Mitsubishi Elevator was realized in 2013 with an aim to help children learn the basic rules of safely using elevators and escalators and to eliminate preventable accidents and injuries caused by misuse. As Thailand’s authorized distributor and service provider for elevators, escalators and moving walks, under the brand “Mitsubishi”, the company naturally considers safety its number one priority. During its second year, the campaign is expanding the project to more students in 30 schools around the Bangkok vicinity, as it was a huge success in all the schools visited last year.
