Overexpression of
CD24 reversed the growth inhibition induced by baicalein in Bel7402
cells at day 1 and 3 (Fig. 4B, C). Furthermore, baicalein did not increase
the apoptosis in Bel7402 cells overexpressing CD24 (Fig. 4D, E), suggesting
that baicalein induces apoptosis through reducing CD24.
