The correlations described above will be better understood from
the following detailed comparison of each variable in each FMP separately
(Table 3). More natural forest conditions in Oak contained
the highest C and N soil contents, but at the same time, the lowest
soil base saturation (K) percentage; in both cases Oak differed significantly
from the other two FMPs, but no differences were found
in relation to P soil contents. Consequently, the above mentioned
transition was primarily conditioned by differences in either C and
N soil contents or base saturation (K) percentage while was not
constrained by changes of P soil contents.
