However, the use of dietary
antibiotics resulted in common problems such as the
progress of drug-resistant bacteria, drug residues in the
birds body and imbalance of normal micro flora (4). Drugresistant
bacteria like Staphylococcus spp., Escherichia coli
and Enterococcus spp. can be transmitted from poultry to
humans through the food chain and other sources, leading
to potential therapeutic failures in both humans and
animals (5).
