During the course of treatment, global health status had a tendency to appear improved in
responders. Furthermore,in patients with stable disease(NC group)this difference became statistically
significant when compared with pretreatment levels. Responders also recovered significantly better from
fatigue, had better pain control, and suffered less from insomnia and loss of appetite.
At the same time, there were no statistically significant group differences in the physical, role
performance, cognitive and social functioning scores
