The Adaption process:
To accomplish the goal of MOOAR for Locationbased
Adaptive Mobile Learning, there are three critical
processes contained in Adaptive Progress. After learner
click the button and start Process 4: Launch AR, the
first adaptive process will begin. In Process 5: Six-DoF
Data Collection, the MOOAR system uses GPS as the
first step to locate learner and Digital Compass to know
their orientation, and then catch the acceleration through
Accelerometer. The MOOAR system is able to provide
location-based learning contents by the 6DOF process.
Furthermore, the system uses the 6DOF information to
support and accomplish the Process 6: Five R
Adaption. In this process, the Controller will sand a
notification for asking user profile to the User Data
Model and then match with suitable location-based
learning objects and contents accessed from LOs Data
Model. After that, the MOOAR server will creates a
Personal Learning Table contained with different
learning objects, activities and tasks as shown in Table 1
through Process 7: Create Personalized Learning
Contents.
