Rooms slightly ahead of forecast by THB 220K whith most segments inline with For. European market was down by 9% or THB 4M vs LY, major drop coming from Russia ( -6.5M) and Germany (-1.3M), compensated by a growth of 2.5M with Swiss market. Initiative done for different segment minimized the shortfall against LY by THB 1.6M, but still behind budget by THB 3.7M . We saw a growth of THB 1M in Asia Market & 1 M in America but a drop of 1M in China vs last year because of lack of 2 Chinese groups last year. DOSM and GM focus on Asian market for the comming months with but not limited to the coming ML China Rd Show in April
RGI we were ranked No. 1 & also reclaimed our No.1 position YTD.
We do see improvement in group segment which is performing above budget and we also looking for group leads and trying and converting them, especailly with the one with long booking window to create a base
We have already launced the Meeting Retreat package for March and April which will help us to convert more group leads to Definite business
We have introduced an additional 15 days EBO with 10% discount to all our partners starting 16th April valid until 31st October.
