SpaceshipTwo crashes during test flight in California
Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo rocket has reportedly crashed during a test flight near Mojave, California.
At least one person is feared to have been killed in the crash.
Two pilots are thought to have been on board the spacecraft at the time.
If confirmed, the crash will come as a major blow to Virgin's plans to offer suborbital space flights.
In a statement Virgin Galactic said the space craft suffered a "serious anomoly" during the test flight and was "lost."
It said it would work with the authorities to determine the cause of the crash.
The status of the two pilots on board is still unknown.
