Radio Micro grid: The radio micro grid is a portion of the telecommunication network that incorporates CBSs and FBSs which are powered by a DG of a certain power capacity, P(t). The
DG might not be directly connected to the BSs but it can be deployed in a different geographical area with attractive electricity prices aiming to virtually provide power to the BSs (Fig. 2).
The DG, the CBSs and FBSs are assumed to have controllers that process critical data and can support BS management schemes in a self-optimized approach to achieve island mode operation or adaptation to pricing signals.
