Caution:
Suitable extinguishing media:
Dry chemical powder, carbon dioxide, foam, sand, and water.
Specific hazards:
Intense heat from fires may cause thermal decomposition, harmful gases or irritation gases.
Fire-Fighting procedures:
Product itself will not ignite.
Always place yourself upwind.
In case of peripheral fires promptly move containers to safe area.
Put localized primary fires out using appropriate fire-extinguisher.
Personal precautions, protective equipment, and emergency procedures:
Unauthorized personnel must stay away from large spills. Ventilate enclosed areas.
Environmental precautions:
Waste water from washing/rinsing area should not be released into the environment.
Methods and materials for containment and clean up:
Small spills; Wipe out with waste cloth.
Larger spills; Collect it in a PE container as much as possible. Finally wash out with water.
Handling:
Handle only in well ventilated area. Must use PPE. Follow exposure prevention measure 8.
Seal container after each use.
Collect all empty containers in one designated area.
Do not contact with alkaline, reducing agents, oxidizing agents, flammables, organics.
5.FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
If containers are immobile, cool down the peripheral surrounding area with cold water as to prevent
rupture of container.
6.ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Workers must wear appropriate protection equipment (8. Exposure Prevention and Protection Measures
referenced) and work from upwind.
Barricade larger spills with gravel and the like to avoid runoff of spilled material and prevent its contact
with soil, waterways, drains and sewers.
7.HANDLING AND STORAGE
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If unconscious, place in recovery position and
get medical attention immediately. Maintain an open airway. Loosen tight clothing such as collar, tie,
belt or waistband. No action shall be taken involving personal risk or without suitable training. If it is
suspected that fumes are still present, the rescuer should wear an appropriate mask or self-contained
breathing apparatus. It may be dangerous to the person providing aid to give mouth-to-mouth
resuscitation. Wear protective gloves or wash contaminated clothing thoroughly with water before
removing.
