The interpretation of these final scores were as follows: for evidence based on intervention studies a score ≥0 equates to “high quality”, −1 “moderate quality”, −2 “low quality” and ≤−3 “very low quality” and for evidence based on observational studies a score ≥+2 equates to “high quality”, +1 “moderate quality”, 0 “low quality” and ≤−1 “very low quality” evidence.
